No matter how many beaches you’ve been to in your life, nothing is probably like the beach in Nosara, a Pacific-beach community on Costa Rica’s Nicoya Peninsula. It’s said to be the exact opposite of typical overrun beaches. In fact you can see seabirds diving for fish in the shallows that outnumber the people on the beach, which makes for a nice, relaxing, and private retreat. There’s also a large wildlife refuge that protects the nesting sea turtles, which means there’s also no development along the beach, just good old fashioned nature!
